Cognac Château Montifaud VSOP

Presentation of the domain:

Cognacs from Château Montifaud, real winegrower products, have been elaborated for more than 150 years by the same family. A result of 6 generation to take care of this quality vineyard.

The estate is about 125 hectares, both in Grande-Champagne and in Petite-Champagne, the first two vintages of the cognac region. There, this independent winemaker produces “high-end” cogancs, only in bottles.

Much older than the minimum of 4 years required by the regulations of Cognac, this VSOP is the most popular cognac of the Château Montifaud range. This cognac has a lot of finesse, notes of vine flowers and linden flowers with a gentle evolution towards dried flowers. Cognac also fruity (pear, apricot), this VSOP is very round, soft and fine to the palate. Already a great length in the mouth.
