Maison Peyrat – Petite Champagne Cognac

Maison Peyrat is a family-owned estate located in the heart of the Cognac region. It cultivates its vineyards on clay-limestone soils of Petite Champagne, a terroir renowned for producing fine, elegant eaux-de-vie with excellent ageing potential.
The estate oversees the entire production process: vineyard cultivation, traditional distillation, and ageing in French oak barrels. This full control ensures a faithful expression of the terroir and a consistent style combining precision and aromatic richness.
Production of Maison Peyrat XO Cognac
Maison Peyrat XO Cognac is made exclusively from eaux-de-vie from Petite Champagne. After traditional pot still distillation, the eaux-de-vie are aged for a long period in 400-litre French oak barrels.
This extended ageing allows the development of complex aromas and a perfectly balanced structure between power, roundness, and finesse. The XO thus represents the pinnacle of Maison Peyrat’s style expression.
