From a family story started in 1766, Les Antiquaires du Cognac slowly developed their expertise in the vineyards and the distillery. They make part of few Cognac houses dedicated to old vintages Cognacs.
Single cru certified vintages are aged minimum 40 years. They are extremely limited edition and only available for the best vintages. These rare vintages will exist only once. When they are gone, they are gone forever.
The 1973 wine (Ugni blanc) vintage of Cognac has a low degree of alcohol. The average 7.22% Alcohol by volume (ABV) of the 1973 wine testifies to the late maturity due to an excess of cold (-1.9 degrees in average than normal year temperatures) during the growth cycle of the vine.

The abundance of the harvest, combined with the level of wine acidity (9,3) allowed them to select this incredible Fins Bois Cru wine.
This is a beautifully textured, rounded Cognac that has spicy, citrus, and orange peel-laced aromas and flavors. A beautiful woody presence joins chocolate and tobacco notes with a delicate mixture of camphor wood and dried vines.
With medium-bodied density, layered with a silky mouthfeel and integrated alcohol, this wonderful Cognac completes with a fabulous finish, as smooth and silky as they come.
