In 1791, Louis Vallein decided to bought a vineyard in Cognac area and started with Domaine des Forges to produce really fin and elegant eaux-de-vie. Nowadays, Louis and Catherine his descendants continue to handle the vineyard and to keep ancestrale methods to produce authentic cognacs.

Presentation of the vintage:

This cognac comes from 1969 harvest in the Grande Champagne region, it has been aged for decades before being bottled without reduction “cask strength”.

On the nose, this cognac is seductive and arouses the senses with its spicy fragrances. The tasty mouth blends notes of ginger, cinnamon, vanilla, licorice and Sichuan pepper. Round and smooth cognac, long and persistent completed by notes of roasted coffee and chocolate. A pure moment of pleasure.
