Of 2ha of vineyards  in 1965, the vineyard now reached a surface of 24ha, the whole lot of which is on the country of the Big Champagne, the most prestigious country of the area of production of Cognac, and in a beam of 5km around the exploitation.

50 years later, they are the sons of the house Pierre and Christophe Forgeron, which continue to make live the traditions and the know-how of the family Smith.

Presentation of the vintage:

This Cognac “Barrique 90” has aged nearly 30 years in French oak barrels in the cellars of the Domaine Michel Forgeron. It has been patiently reduced by adding distilled water to be offered at 47 degrees of alcohol, a good compromise between preservation of taste and aromas and power in the mouth.

Visual inspection:
Barrique 90′ Cognac has a golden amber colour.

Olfactory examination:
Aromas of apricot jam, candied orange and pannetone.

Taste test:
A Cognac which is easy to taste, very greedy.
