📜 Founded in 1765 by Irishman Richard Hennessy, Maison Hennessy is now the global emblem of cognac. Located in the heart of the Charente region, in Cognac, it has embodied French excellence for over 250 years. Renowned for its exceptional expertise in blending and aging, the house produces some of the world’s most sought-after cognacs, from the classic VS to the prestigious Paradis. Hennessy is also a pioneer in innovation, combining respect for tradition with a quest for modern expression.

Hennessy works exclusively with eaux-de-vie from the four major crus of the Cognac appellation (Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies, and Fins Bois), double-distilled in traditional Charentais copper stills, then aged in oak barrels from Limousin. Its tasting committee — one of the most experienced in the industry — ensures daily that the blends maintain consistency and signature aroma, generation after generation.
